Chuck Todd: “I IGNITE CLARITY IN ALL”
illustrator, visual journalist,
designer, art director AND TEACHER

My illustration work has appeared in newspapers, children’s books, museum displays, websites, journals, magazines, posters and annual reports. My books with author Gary Bogue include “The Raccoon Next Door: Getting Along with Urban Wildlife,” “There’s an Opossum in My Backyard” and “There’s a Hummingbird in My Backyard” published by HeyDay Books. I created artwork for permanent displays at the Lindsay Wildlife Museum. In addition to freelance work, I have taught at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and give presentations to school and civic groups on illustration and visual storytelling. I’ve been a visual journalist since 1989: I art direct, edit, create infographics, illustrations and page designs. In addition to freelance work I’m the Deputy Graphics Director for Bay Area News Group (San Jose Mercury News, Contra Costa Times and Oakland Tribune).  All work © Chuck Todd.
